In speaking with two of my food sensitivity clients yesterday, we were discussing that one of the benefits of doing the LEAP-MRT food sensitivity program, beyond feeling markedly improved, is the challenge to eat clean and get creative. Sometimes it’s hard to snap out of routine, but often the results of new foods, combinations and eating clean leads to pleasant surprises! Below is a recipe that is a perfect fall treat and became one of my favorites when challenged to get creative.
I was more than thrilled with the outcome of this recipe! By no means is it a low-calorie recipe, but it is filled nutritious ingredients that taste great! It can be served as a dessert (which I am going to make for Thanksgiving) or cut into bars to take on the go as a snack. There are many varieties that will work, but I will give you the ingredients I used and you can get creative from there!
